The Heinrich Helicoprion stands out as a bold sports watch with a strong personality — especially when paired with its mesmerizing Tiger's Eye dial.
The watch's stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces offers a contemporary frame that balances the organic textures of the dial. The bold hands and clear markers maintain legibility while complementing the unique dial pattern.
Photographing the Tiger's Eye version was a fascinating challenge: capturing the stone's depth and play-of-light required meticulous lighting control to emphasize its natural iridescence without overpowering reflections. I used a combination of soft directional light and carefully placed highlights to bring out the dial's rich layers.
A simple, dark monochrome background provided a neutral canvas, ensuring all focus remained on the watch's distinctive dial and architectural case. Macro shots captured the stone's intricate patterns and the precise finishing of the case edges, offering viewers an intimate look at the watch's craftsmanship.

Some thoughts
In most cases, I had to flag the light (block it) just a bit so I could get a clearer view of the dial. I also used the focus stacking technique to get the best sharpness and details. A high-resolution and detailed photo is helpful when doing smaller crops for social media.
