Czapek continues to blend heritage with contemporary craft. The open movement bridges traditional horology with a modern aesthetic — a narrative I tried to convey visually.
The interplay between the glacier blue guilloché dial and the polished indices creates a delicate balance of depth and light — a detail I aimed to highlight through soft directional lighting. Capturing the guilloché texture without overwhelming glare required stacking multiple exposures and using a polarizing filter. To achieve good sharpness I used focus stacking technique.
To do justice to the watch's textures, I used soft directional lighting and a cold-toned palette that echoes its name. The challenge was rendering the dynamic play of light across the dial without losing detail in the mirror-polished indices or case.
